Opening (switching) contacts are activated by the mating connector docking, allowing for the ability to indicate and monitor the mated connection.

Considered by many to be the “State-of-the-Art” receptacle. This round plastic body XLR PCB mount panel connector has the smallest size and highest packing density (23 mm between centers). Featuring polished contact areas and hard gold plated contacts. This is a UL recognized component.
