The Midas HUB4 is designed to be the center of your live signal distribution universe.

The HUB4 can collect and distribute 48 channels of bi-directional 24-bit / 48 kHz audio between a FOH console, AES50 connected stage boxes, and the HUB's 8 onboard return channels. All the while supplying PoE (Power over Ethernet) for up to 4 DP48 personal monitor mixers and compatible stage boxes (all sold separately).

HUB4 features 16 balanced line-level outputs that can carry the 8 stereo mixes from connected DP48 mixers (sold separately) for connections in the side rack. So there is no need to run additional lines from personal mixers to the transmitters, reducing setup time and reliability considerably. Alternatively, these analog outputs can also be used as spare outputs on stage receiving signals directly from the FOH consoles, e.g. for providing talkback or side fill outputs.

The HUB shines when used with M32 FOH consoles and DP48 personal mixers (sold separately). A seamless interface allows control messages from the M32 that include assignments, names, and colors of channels, which are transmitted via AES50 for easy configuration of personal mixers. HUB4 can convey control messages from the M32 to personal mixers as well as between personal mixers. This control message system works when DP48 units are connected to Ports 1-4 or the ports on the daisy-chained hubs.

A clean stage setup can be achieved using the new Midas DL8 stage box (sold separately) to replace analog sub-snakes. A DL8 can be connected to one of the 4 HUB4 ports with a CAT5E cable providing audio transmission as well as power for up to 3 additional DL8 stage boxes.

HUB4 is positioned to hold center stage into the future with the inclusion of Midas' forward-thinking StageCONNECT which delivers 32 channels of uncompressed 24-bit / 48KHz PCM audio under 0.5 ms of latency over standard XLR or DMX cable.
