The toms have 50s-era hoops and 30-degree bearing edges for a punchy response. The kick drum is surprisingly musical and suited for club gigs and jazz sets. The snare drum is responsive and dimensional. The shells are made of North American maple and poplar for a big voice. The kit includes Gretsch-branded Remo Permatone heads for great tone.
