Product Overview

A versatile relay module equipped with two double-pole double-throw (DPDT) relays provides a multitude of application options. Each relay operates independently and the module is designed to safeguard the relays and other components from external factors. Activation of the relays can be achieved via contact closures or voltage input (5-24V AC or DC). The detachable Phoenix-style terminals enhance ease of use.

Lowell RY-2A Features:

  • Steel chassis (5.00 in. x 1.69 in. x 3.28 in.) with mounting holes
  • 5A contact rating
  • Two (2) DPDT independent relays
  • Test switch for troubleshooting
  • Detachable Phoenix style terminals
  • Relays are activated by contact closures or voltage input (5-24 V AC or DC).
  • Permanently attached power supply (100-250 VAC input, 24 VDC 500 mA output)

Lowell RY-2A Specifications:

  • The relay module shall be Lowell Model #RY-2A, which shall have a contact rating of 5 amps, 24 VDC / 250 VAC. It shall include a 24 VDC 5000 mA power supply. All connections shall be detachable Phoenix-style terminals. Relays shall be activated by contact closures or voltage input (5-24 AC or DC) and include a test switch. The module shall be enclosed in a steel chassis with black finish measuring 5″ L x 1.69″ H x 3.28” W). The chassis shall feature holes for mounting to rack shelf or wall.

Possibly - some spare parts come with a warranty, typically with a shorter duration than the standard warranty for finished goods. In some cases manufacturers sell spare parts “as is” or won’t consider an item eligible for return if the part isn’t installed by an authorized center.

If you’re concerned about the duration of a spare part warranty please contact us before placing your order. Be aware that if you install a part to repair an item that’s still under the manufacturer’s warranty you may void the warranty in your item by performing unauthorized repairs.

In most cases it’s impractical to attempt a diagnosis without an item present along with the appropriate test equipment. If you’re not confident in your ability to diagnose the fault of your item; it may be best to take your item to a qualified technician.
