The DWS-TGS-VIP-12-400 tour guide system from Williams AV is a complete turnkey wireless communication system that offers your team the versatility to adapt to almost any guide scenario. With twelve full duplex two-way transceivers and twelve headset microphones, the system can be as interactive as you want it to be. The DLT 400 transceivers can be individually configured for two-way (up to six talkers) or one-way communication allowing multiple guides to contribute. Since all system transceivers are DLT 400s, guides can configure them for audience participation on an individual or group basis, making it easy to shape the system to the application. Employing the same DSS frequency-hopping technology found in cell phones, the system offers an interference-free and highly secure method of communication. Using DSS, the DigiWave 400 transmits in the 2.4 GHz ISM band rapidly and randomly switching frequencies resulting in a signal that dodges common wireless anomalies and makes it extremely difficult for third parties to listen in. The single muff on-ear headsets connect to the transceiver's 3.5mm jack and features an adjustable swivel mic boom. There is also an external microphone input to accommodate a preferred microphone or headset. The DWS-TGS-VIP-12-400 supports up to six simultaneous talkers and unlimited listeners (additional receivers/transceivers sold separately), giving you the flexibility to grow and cover multiple applications.
