Product Overview

The Model 5402 Dante Leader Clock with synchronization provides the precision required to support the timing needs of over one hundred Dante audio-over-IP devices from a single rack space unit. Once your audio is in the digital domain, absolute timing is critical. Each piece of equipment has to perform its task at the correct instant, and the Model 5402 makes sure that's the case, always. GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) synchronization ensures rock-solid timing by acquiring reference from the four major constellations of the USA, Europe, China, and Russia.

In addition to full support for Dante audio requirements, the Model 5402 Precision Time Protocol server V2 for AES67 audio over IP and audio over Ethernet (AoE) interoperability. The unit has an integrated sync input that allows the internal oscillator to be synchronized with a variety of external timing and reference signals. Word clock output is also included as a general-purpose sample rate timing reference for use by external devices.

High-precision multi-band GNSS antenna with 5-meter (16.3 foot) cable terminated with SMA plug.
