Neumann MCM 114 Cello Set Small-diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone System for Cellos

The Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) System brings signature Neumann audio quality to all of your live acoustic instrument miking applications. The MCM-114-SET-CELLO microphone kit is designed for use on cellos with placement on the strings behind the bridge. An optional MC-5 rib clip (sold separately) for mounting the gooseneck on the bass body is also available.

The kit includes an SH 150 gooseneck with a KK 14 cardioid capsule, a cello specific instrument mount, and everything else needed for placement and connection to a wired 3-pin XLR input. The MCM system can also be used with wireless bodypacks (sold separately) thanks to interchangeable cable options (sold separately) that include a 3.5 mm, Lemo, 4-pin mini-XLR, or MicroDot termination. You also get a soft case for storage and transport.

The MCM system allows precise microphone placement, resulting in optimal pickup with minimal impact on the performer or aesthetics.
