Product Overview
Originally designed for use with wireless systems in theater, television, and close-miked instrument applications, the DPA 4061-OC-C-C34 is a brownminiature omnidirectional microphone with a high SPL tolerance and a cable that terminates in a locking 3.5mm connector. The visually discrete 4061 exhibits an exceedingly accurate omnidirectional pattern eliminating the need to be aimed directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup. Common placements for voice applications are over the ear or on the forehead resulting in an increase in level compared to chest placement with a lapel mic.
