Cubase Artist 12 embraces MIDI as never before with MIDI Remote integration. Integrated MIDI Remote Scritps allow Artist 12 to auto-detect and map your device's controls. If a script does not yet exist, one can quickly be created and mapped with the MIDI control surface editor and Mapping Assistant. Audio to MIDI chords detects chords captured on an audio track then displays the progression for you, blurring the line between audio and MIDI and putting the focus on the music.

Powerful user-friendly pitch correction has also been added with the introduction of VariAudio with Scale Assistant. VAriAudio can correct recorded pitch or tweak melodies to take them in a new direction.

Other enhancements include Raiser, a versatile dynamics processor that can process vocals with kid gloves, smash-limit the drums, or put a bow on your final mix. A new virtual felt piano called Verve is perfect for adding that beautifully atmospheric vibe where needed. Cubase 12 also features Native Apple Silicon support and no longer requires a USB eLicenser for operation.
