Appsys ProAudio ADAT Splitter Active ADAT/Toslink Splitter

The ADS-8 ADAT/Toslink Splitter is a must-have for professional audio applications. Its active design allows for reliable, lossless, bit-transparent splitting of a signal from a single source for delivery to two separate input destinations. The ADS-8 overcomes the limitations of traditional passive splitters, which can cause problems due to the attenuated signal being too weak for proper transmission of high-speed data. The ADS-8 splits the stream By converting the optical signal to an electrical signal passing no loss to the output transmitters, resulting in a doubled transmission distance of up to 10-20m, depending on the equipment used. With near-zero latency (< 1µs) and all channels present on both outputs, the splitter is perfect for any audio format transmitted over TOSLINK.
