The AC6 is a Powered 6x6” Adaptive Column Loudspeaker. The AC6 features six 6” woofers and thirty 1” dome tweeters on a CSA waveguide. Each transducer is individually amplified and processed for precise control and clarity.
Utilizing adaptive technology, the vertical coverage can be tailored to your venue across the entire 20KHz to 65Hz range, ensuring uniform and musical coverage.
With a modular design approach, the AC6 offers redundancy and full front-serviceability, making it the most user-friendly column loudspeaker.
Designed for visual discreetness and portable ruggedness, the AC6 carries an IP54 rating. Concealed wiring behind the column allows for seamless passage to columns above or below.
EAW AC6 Features:
- Coverage Control: AC6 does not rely on "beam forming" technology. EAW's patented Adaptive technology enables precise customization of vertical coverage tailored to your room and audience seating configuration. This ensures consistent sound from the front to the back of coverage while minimizing sound reflection off surfaces such as walls and balcony faces. Adaptive coverage is easily controlled through EAW's award-winning Resolution 2 software. In situations where a computer is unavailable or impractical, coverage presets can be conveniently recalled through the rear panel LCD screen and encoder or via the contact closures inputs on the input panel.
- Colors and Mounting: The AC6 features a powder-coated aluminum chassis and accessories, offered in standard black and white. With 28 fly track mounting points, seamless connectivity is ensured with both EAW and third-party accessories. EAW accessories are designed for visual appeal and easy installation in diverse configurations.
- Weather Resistance: With optional input and output covers, the AC6 achieves an IP54 rating, ensuring reliable use in unprotected outdoor settings. A combination of steel mesh and foam behind the grill prevents water from reaching the transducers and electronics, while conformally coated circuit boards add an extra layer of protection.
- Input Connections: Dante primary and secondary inputs, along with loop-throughs, streamline high-quality audio distribution to arrays of AC6 or other Dante-enabled products. Two independent analog audio inputs with loop-throughs offer signal flexibility and fail-safe operation. An AES/EBU digital audio input adds further audio options. All audio, data, and power input connections are internally looped through to the top of the cabinet, ensuring clean wiring when arrayed with other AC6 units.
