The kit includes a pair of Shure Stem Ceiling Array microphones, two Stem Speakers, a device Hub-X1 paired with a Netgear Ethernet switch, and all the required cabling in one convenient package. Designed for classrooms of up to 20 people, the Classroom Kit comfortably covers spaces up to 33'x16' and - most importantly- - includes those learners not physically present. Integrated Beamforming microphone technology means every word will be delivered with legendary Shure audio quality, ensuring all participants feel involved.

The heart of the Classroom kit is the Stem Hub-X1. Ethernet, Dante, terminal block and USB connections allow the Hub to act as the communication center of your system. With the ability to connect up to ten audio endpoints, Hub-X1 processes input from all connected devices and distills them into a single audio channel. All components except the Ethernet switch run on PoE (Power over Ethernet), so you won't be searching for open outlets, power strips, or unsightly wall warts.
