A unique six-second pre-record function means you'll never miss that perfect take and dual A/D converters with studio-quality preamps deliver clip-free audio without constant gain adjustment. With eight inputs and ten tracks, the F8N is your ideal partner for immersive audio recording that translates to magic in post-production. Internal signal processing offers flexible routing from any input to any output, phase inversion, and high-pass filtering. There's even a mid-side decoder to give you precise control over the stereo field. The eight inputs are on Neutrik XLR/TRS combo connectors for compatibility with virtually any microphone, wireless pack, or line-level device you prefer. Recordings can be monitored on powered speakers (sold separately) via a pair of balanced TA3 mini-XLR outs or on your trusted field headphones. The F8N also follows and generates timecode, keeping your tracks in perfect sync even when powered down. Full metadata entry is supported for cataloging track and scene names, notes, and more. Plus, the F8 control app allows you to visually monitor signals, adjust levels, trigger transport controls, enter metadata, and more from your Android device, iPhone, or iPad (sold separately) via Bluetooth.
