Panasonic AU-XPD3 High Speed Thunderbolt3 Card Reader

The AU-XPD3 Memory Card Drive, known as "expressP2 drive," utilizes the Thunderbolt™ 3 interface for high-speed data transfer. Specifically designed for recording 4K/high-frame-rate video with the Panasonic VariCam series camera, the expressP2 card B series serves as the recording media. Leveraging the high data transfer performance of this media (maximum 10 Gbps), the AU-XPD3 achieves a transfer speed approximately four times faster than its predecessor, the AU-XPD1/USB 3.0. When two AU-XPD3 units are daisy-chained, data can be transferred at an increased speed of 17.6 Gbps.

The card slot is versatile, accommodating an expressP2 card, P2 card, or microP2 card (adaptor required). The AU-XPD3 significantly contributes to expediting 4K/high-frame-rate video production workflows with VariCam.
