The Wasp 100-CX is an excellent lighting option for any set as it provides the equivalent of a 650W Incandescent or 100W HMI using only 75 watts. Its proprietary omni-color array offers full hue and saturation controls, making it easy to create infinite color combinations and match any light source from warm candlelight to cool daylight. The light is highly modular and features an enhanced Bluetooth range and a premium aerospace-grade aluminum build quality. The Wasp 100-CX open face is the primary building block for any 100-CX setup and pairs well with all of Hive's modifiers and accessory kits. Without a modifier, the light's 180° dome diffuser provides ample light-shaping options. The CX line is the most lightweight and cost-effective version of Hive's omni-color LED lights, without extra features like CRMX, local controls, and battery regulators. The light is highly accessorizable and can be shaped to create different lighting effects for various on-screen talents, subjects, and locations, including theatrical spotlights or soft beauty lights. Control of the saturation, hue, and color of the light can be done through professional DMX boards or a smartphone app, giving users ultimate control over their lighting.
