The JVC GY-HC550 boasts NDI®|HX connectivity in addition to its already impressive wireless LAN capabilities with super-reliable SRT or Zixi streaming and optional HEVC/H.265 encoding. This compact device is perfect for multitasking, from ENG electronic news gathering to live broadcasts, thanks to JVC's powerful communications engine, which delivers high quality, low latency error-free video both wired and wirelessly. The camera also allows your crew to view return video and receive IFB from your facility while shooting in the field.
Furthermore, the integrated 20x lens ensures there are no compromises in image quality, while a wide range of media options, including SDHC, SDXC, and SSD, provides plenty of flexibility. You can even shoot and record to SSD media in a variety of formats, including 10-bit ProRes 422 at 4K resolution and 50/60p frame rates.
With built-in dual channel (2.4GHz, 5GHz) broadband radios with MIMO, everything you need is included. Simply plug in an appropriate media card and start shooting, recording, and streaming, or set the camera to NDI®|HX mode for direct-to-live production. (Note: Camera does not record in NDI®|HX mode.)
