The Waves IONIC 16 stagebox delivers exceptional sound with punch and clarity to your live sound productions. Complementing the stellar sonic performance of the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixer (sold separately), the IONIC 16 brings studio quality to any live performance. At the heart of the IONIC 16 are Waves' Signature Preamps, featuring fully discrete analog circuits with maximum headroom, lightning-fast transient response, and an incredibly low noise floor. These custom preamps accurately capture everything from a whisper to a scream and deliver it with warmth and natural depth of field. Choose between the pure preamp sound or add extra analog modeled harmonic content to taste per input for that Old Skool VooDoo. With a 16 in / 12 out SoundGrid stagebox and superior audio quality, the IONIC 16 provides easy integration with the eMotion LV1 live mixer. You get 16 mic/line inputs, 12 pristine line outputs, and stereo AES I/O for easy integration into your setup. It also offers two independent headphone outputs for detailed monitoring. With analog-modeled harmonic enhancement, selectable input impedance (classic 2kΩ or modern 7kΩ), and sample rates up to 96 kHz, the IONIC 16 wants to be the beating heart of your live rig. The road-ready 2U chassis is ruggedly built, rack-mountable, and made for life on the road.
