Manfrotto's 058B Triaut features patented simultaneous release of all three legs or any individual leg. This permits the legs to be extended, the tripod levelled (spirit level provided) and locked in seconds without messing with individual leg adjustments for way too long. Telescoping the legs is achieved by activating the same release. Other features of this tripod include the ability to adjust all angles individually and secure them with Manfrotto telescopic struts. Favored for medium format up to large cameras. Rubber feet with retractable spiked feet come standard. Includes carrying strap.

  • The TRIAUT mechanism has three red levers under the tripod shoulder that release all leg locks (on all 3 legs simultaneously or on each separate leg), allowing the tripod to be opened, repositioned, levelled or closed in seconds without fiddling with individual adjustments. As soon as you let go of the levers, the legs lock in place.
  • The solid tripod/head plate has an industry standard 3/8" screw and three angled grub screws which stop the head from unscrewing accidentally in use and also block unwanted panoramic rotation or play between tripod and head
  • Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning and to help keep camera equipment well-balanced over the tripod's center of gravity.
  • The built-in, carefully hand-set bubble spirit level helps make sure your horizons really are horizontal
  • Built-in mid-level spreader adds anti-torsional rigidity and stops the tripod legs from accidentally being knocked wider apart. Compared to a ground-level spreader or dolly, the mid-level spreader has the advantage that it stays well out of the mud and dirt and is more suitable for use on uneven terrain.
  • Lockable, mobile spreader-to-column junction ring lets the tripod legs be set at various angles to either increase stability or reduce footprint
  • Totally free, independent leg angles can be positioned to precisely the height and spread needed
