When contemplating electric pianos, it is common to evoke iconic models such as the Rhodes and Wurlitzer. However, the spectrum extends further. During the 1980s, Roland introduced the RD-1000, an electric piano that employed Structured Adaptive Synthesis (SAS) for sound generation. This innovative technology enabled the production of remarkably authentic acoustic piano tones and exceptionally pleasing electric piano timbres, particularly considering the standards of that era.
The SA-1000 faithfully replicates the RD-1000, preserving all the original presets while additionally granting access to a comprehensive array of adjustable parameters. These parameters encompass essential audio treatments such as chorus, tremolo, and equalization, affording users the ability to finely tailor their sonic output to suit their preferences and creative requirements.
