The SR517 offers streamlined remote control capabilities for DMX lighting systems. With the capacity to store and activate up to 16 lighting scenes effortlessly, this unit simplifies lighting management with the press of a button. Scenes are neatly organized into two sets of eight scenes each, allowing for easy access and control. Operating in either an "exclusive" mode (permitting one active scene at a time) or a "pile-on" mode (allowing multiple scenes to blend together), the SR517 accommodates diverse lighting setups. Active scenes seamlessly integrate with any incoming DMX input signal, creating a combined effect.

Compatible with Lightronics smart remotes and basic remote switches, these wall-mounted units enable control from various locations. Through low voltage wiring, these remotes establish a connection with the SR517, facilitating the activation and deactivation of scenes.

Once scenes are recorded, the SR517 operates independently, eliminating the need for a DMX controller for day-to-day lighting system operation. Even when powered off, the SR517 retains the stored scenes, ensuring continuity and convenience.

Distinguished by a revised programming menu compared to previous SR models, the SR517 introduces new features such as button scene deactivation upon the application of DMX and the capability to park DMX addresses, enhancing its versatility and control options.
