AYRTON presents a weather-sealed effects luminaire that extends the same creative possibilities both indoors and outdoors – the ARGO 6 FX. This luminaire showcases a minimalist design that incorporates innovative elements for complete protection against harsh weather, all while providing easier access to its internal components. The anti-reflective treated glass window ensures optimal visual outcomes and enhanced performance. With the pan and tilt motors ingeniously placed in the base and head of the luminaire, the need to weatherproof yoke arms is eliminated. A novel submersible ventilation system, housed in a non-waterproof compartment, ensures effective cooling. AYRTON's utilization of a new composite alloy, reduction in part thickness, an optimized cooling system, simplified lens guidance, and integration of low-density optical components has resulted in an impressive 20% reduction in the luminaire's overall weight.
The ARGO 6 FX's formidable power and visual performance are underpinned by an exclusive optical system comprising a cluster of 19 PMMA lenses with a 280 mm diameter, accompanied by 19 glass light guides featuring an output surface enriched with an optical microstructure.
With the capability to achieve a highly intense beam and a generous zoom range from 4° to 56°, the ARGO 6 FX boasts a remarkable 14:1 zoom ratio. This luminaire is powered by 19 LEDs, each with a 40 Watt capacity and RGB+W additive color synthesis, delivering an impressive light output of 13,000 lumens. A versatile and fully-equipped luminaire, the ARGO 6 FX is designed to cater to a diverse array of applications. It draws inspiration from the key features of the WASH version, offering continuous rotation for pan and tilt movement, known as I.R.S.TM.
The ARGO 6 FX incorporates a high-definition liquid effect system, enhanced by a translucent honeycomb configuration, capable of generating intricate graphic effects referred to as LiquidEffectTM. It can be used independently or in conjunction with the primary LED matrix, introducing a new level of precision and exactness to the creative process.
