COBRA represents the first luminaire featuring AYRTON's factory-standard phosphor laser source technology, building on the foundation of the DREAMSPOT 18K concept introduced at Prolight+Sound 2016.

Years of dedicated development have culminated in the creation of this exceptional luminaire. It introduces a next-generation speckle-free laser source designed to achieve a D65 white point for flawless color reproduction. COBRA redefines the boundaries of beam definition, offering native contrast levels never before seen in a digital light source, an astonishingly narrow beam angle of 0.6°, and an extensive focus range that allows for dynamic adjustment of the beam shape based on the operating distance (XT-Focus™).

With its substantial 170 mm frontal lens, the proprietary optical system employs 13 precision-engineered lenses, resulting in an unprecedented 38x zoom ratio and a zoom range stretching from 0.6° to 23°. COBRA boasts a minimalist design that exudes balance, thanks to its simplified waterproofing technology, EasyProtect-65™. The continuous pan and tilt movement rotation multiplies the potential for crafting intricate effects using I.R.S.™, establishing this luminaire as a universal tool ready to tackle any challenge under all conditions.
