The pedal features separate high gain and crunch gain channels, each with dedicated gain and output controls to sculpt the ideal tone. Play either channel or reach for the blend control and dial up the desired combination of the two. When you find the sweet spot, you can fine-tune it with the tone knob for the finishing touch. The MXR team went to great lengths to ensure each amplifier was painstakingly recreated in pedal circuit form to deliver the ultimate harmonically complex palette of grit, grind, and maxed-out overdrive. The result is a pedal that opens up new tonal palettes and delivers the pleasure of playing through two ripping amp stacks without having to carry them around!
