The Atomos NEON 17" 4K HDR Monitor/Recorder is an integral component of the NEON line, engineered to deliver precise and consistent monitoring capabilities both in the field and within post-production environments. Offering deep black levels, superior contrast, and an expansive 178° viewing angle, this monitor ensures accurate image assessment on location. With ProRes and DNx recording functionalities, it enables efficient duplication of footage directly on-site, eliminating the need for separate recorders. Sporting a 1920 x 1080 native resolution, it supports DCI and UHD 4K resolutions, alongside 1080p/i and 720p formats. The monitor showcases HDR content with remarkable clarity and accuracy, presenting a 10-bit image covering 100% of the DCI P3 standard. Boasting a luminance of 1000 cd/m² and incorporating 128 zones of backlighting, it achieves an impressive contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
