Designed to bring classic P.A.F. tone to your favorite guitar, the ’59 (SH-1) humbucker pickup redefines vintage output for the modern musician. With coils reminiscent of classic P.A.F. humbuckers, it exudes an airy quality, while the alnico 5 bar magnet and vacuum wax potting ensure compatibility with lighter guitar strings and louder amplifiers, pushing its tonal boundaries beyond the 1950s era. Delivering old-school character with a brighter top end and a touch of compression, this pickup offers a timeless yet versatile sound. Similarly, the '59 neck model, renowned for its versatility, embodies the warmth and sustain of vintage P.A.F. humbuckers with refined modern adaptations. Its boosted high end enhances pick-attack clarity, while scooped mids produce an open, smooth sound ideal for chord clarity. Though designed to complement the '59 bridge, it pairs seamlessly with various high-output bridge humbuckers or humbucker-routed Telecasters, offering flexibility across styles. Available in both 6-string standard humbucker and Trembucker spacings, the '59 model boasts vintage treatments like 42AWG plain enamel mag wire and vintage single-conductor braided push-back lead wire. For coil splitting, the four-conductor version ensures crystal-clear single-coil mode, all wound on Seymour's classic Leesona 102 pickup winding machine from the historic Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, MI.
