The CURV500S2W is a 2x Array Satellites for the CURV 500 Portable Array System, in White. This accessory package is designed for extending or adding to an existing CURV 500® system. The 12 x 12 cm satellites, constructed with white die-cast aluminum, deliver excellent sound through a 4-inch woofer and three 1-inch tweeters. Utilizing LD Systems-developed WaveAhead® technology, where tweeters are vertically connected before high-performance full-range speakers, ensures optimal sound mix and distribution. The wide 110-degree horizontal dispersion angle is complemented by a limited 10-degree vertical dispersion per satellite, minimizing reflections on ceilings and floors. A passive crossover at 2500 Hz optimizes frequency spectrum allocation. The patented SmartLink® coupling mechanism allows wireless connection of up to four array satellites to a unit in seconds. Robust metal grilles with an acoustic material scrim protect the satellites' drivers, each having 16-ohm impedance and a weight of 1.73 kg. The matte-black powder-coated surface ensures durability and an elegant appearance. For permanent installations, an M3 screw connection for the safety cable is available.
