Ibanez AAM370E Features:
- A.I.R Port: After thorough research and development, we created the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure. This design reflects sound waves and directs them to exit from a strategically positioned sound hole. The outcome is improved clarity, allowing players to monitor their performance more effectively and enhancing the overall playing experience.
- Advanced Auditorium Body: With the Advanced Acoustics concept - "Reimagining Acoustic Experience" in focus, the new body shape was meticulously crafted the shape of the Advanced Auditorium. Drawing inspiration from the standard Auditorium body, we made adjustments through several prototyping rounds. The Advanced Auditorium now features a slightly wider waist, shifted closer to the neck. These modifications result in enhanced low mids and improved body-to-weight balance, addressing limitations often found in conventional Auditorium bodies.
- X-M bracing for AAM series: After over two years of experimentation, research, and prototyping, Ibanez created the X-M bracing exclusively for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies, aiming to achieve optimal sound for both stage and studio settings. The carefully crafted scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces effectively transfer string vibration from the bridge to the body, resulting in a broad dynamic range and excellent response. The midrange is slightly scooped for improved tonal balance, and the treble maintains the clarity of steel strings while preserving the warmth of nylon strings.
- Solid Sika Spruce Top: Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end.
- Maple Fretboard: The Maple fretboard provide crisp, bright highs and strong upper mids.
- Flamed Maple Back and Sides: Flamed Maple back and sides create an attractive visual profile and offer bright and tight tones.
- Ibanez Custom Electronics w/Volume and Tone Control: The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making the AE suitable for variety of applications for modern players.
- Functional Tapered Headstock: Its tapered shape provides lighter weight, as well as a straight string alignment which enhances tuning stability and reduces any neck twisting effect.
- Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle Pickup: The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into.
- Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins: Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage™ the pin and string stay put.
