The K-Array KU44W-2 is an ultra-slim, 2-ohm passive subwoofer featuring four 4" cones in white. This compact, arrayable bass element is designed to pair with mid-high speakers, offering a full-range frequency response with high output in an almost invisible profile. It has a frequency range of 50 Hz to 150 Hz and includes two 4” neodymium transducers and two 4” passive radiators for maximum linear excursion and minimal residual noise.

The KU44 allows users to choose between 8-ohm and 32-ohm impedance settings. At 32 ohms, up to eight KU44 units can be powered from a single KA84 amplifier channel. Constructed entirely of steel, the KU44 is highly durable, even in harsh outdoor conditions, making it ideal for aquatic environments where typical bass speakers would corrode. Its impregnable frame resists dust, sand, and water, preventing long-term damage.

A variety of dedicated hardware accessories provide numerous mounting options for permanent and portable installations, suitable for theaters and other venues where discreet line arrays are desired. Installing a line array of KU44 subwoofers alongside or behind a Kobra line array creates a full-range sound source with true line array characteristics down to 50 Hz. All KU44 components are designed and custom-made under K-Array’s quality control system.
