It features two independent sound engines, including the expandable sound engine powered by advanced Roland V-Piano modeling technology and the SuperNATURAL sound engine. This setup allows for authentic, detailed tones and full polyphony.
The instrument comes with two V-Piano Expansion titles pre-installed. The German Concert and the newly developed Essential Upright, present a versatile range of sounds to spark your creativity. With 128-voice polyphony for electric pianos and additional sounds, deep real-time control with sliders and encoder knobs, and fully assignable zones for combining internal and external sounds, the RD-2000 EX provides an advanced level of versatility and control to get you from 0 to 60 in no time.
The authentic grand piano touch from its PHA-50 keyboard and weighted hammer action allows you to close your eyes and find yourself in front of a full-size acoustic as it deftly follows your dynamics. It also includes a wide selection of classic electric pianos, vintage analog effect recreations, over 1100 non-piano sounds, and 100 Scene memories for saving and recalling setups with just a touch.
There's a 24-bit/192 kHz USB audio/MIDI interface and USB Memory port for recording and audio file playback so no fleeting moment of inspiration is ever lost. XLR and ¼-inch stereo main outputs, ¼-inch stereo sub outputs, analog aux input, and MIDI I/O, make it a comprehensive stage piano solution for professional use.
