The Q-SYS AcousticDesign™ AD-C6T-ZB-WH is a 6.5” two-way, zero bezel ceiling loudspeaker ideal for a variety of foreground and background sound reinforcement applications using 70/100V or 16Ω bypass configurations. The AcousticDesign™ Series provides integrators with a premium sound solution, emphasizing performance, consistent coverage, and aesthetics. Designed to maintain a consistent tonal characteristic across in-ceiling, surface, and pendant applications, the series allows seamless transitions within blended installations.

The AD-C6T-ZB features a high-quality 6.5” weather-treated paper cone woofer with a 1” voice coil and a .75” aluminum dome tweeter positioned on a DMT waveguide. Q-SYS’s DMT (Directivity Matched Transition™) design philosophy ensures a coherent transition between transducers, providing consistent 150° conical coverage.

Even in 70/100V applications, the AD-C6T-ZB maintains accurate frequency response through a low-loss, low-saturation 30-watt transformer with selectable taps, including 16Ω bypass, controlled by a rotary selector under the snap-fit magnetically attached powder-coated steel grille.

To ensure durability, the rugged ABS baffle is protected by UV inhibitors, and the speaker features a powder-coated steel back can. The magnetic grille includes a removable stick-on logo for installations where branding is not permitted.

Installers benefit from the 3x double-stepped, long-travel dog-ear blind mounting system, accommodating ceiling thicknesses from 0” to 2.25”. The conduit cover plate is easily accessible by loosening a single captive Phillips screw, allowing access to the locking 4-pole Euro-block connector, which accepts up to four 18AWG pairs and simplifies star topology wiring designs.

Intrinsic Correction™ voicings optimize performance and streamline installation, easily deployed via the Q-SYS Platform, including CX-Q Series amplifiers.
