The Q8 presentation switcher delivers robust real-time 4K video processing capabilities. It features up to 72x 4K input connectors and 48x 4K output connectors, supporting simultaneous inputs and outputs. With a maximum of 32x 4K mixing layers in switcher mode or 64x 4K single layers in PGM mode, it ensures seamless transitions.
Each input and output card supports multiple connectors (DP 1.2, HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI). The Q8's 8K processing capability and VPU-based architecture allow efficient management of live events with expanded layer capacities.
For long-distance signal transmission, the switcher supports up to 10 km via single-mode optical fiber, directly compatible with NovaStar LED controllers, ensuring stable, cost-effective transmission.
Operational ease is enhanced through control options via the U5/U5 Pro event controller and PixelFlow software. PixelFlow offers a user-friendly interface with versatile control features for preset operations, blackout, freeze, and seamless switching between PVW and PGM modes.
The Q8 includes comprehensive backup solutions for input sources, devices, and power, ensuring uninterrupted event operation. Seamless switching between primary and backup sources guarantees reliability without downtime.
