The Fredenstein Bento 2 Pure Analog module carrier accommodates up to two 500 Series modules, including API-500 compatible plug-in cards and Fredenstein Series 600 modules. It features several practical additions, such as compressor bus linking and daisy-chaining of Slot 1 to Slot 2 via simple back-panel switches.

Engineers appreciate the additional TRS inputs and outputs running parallel to the XLR connectors, ideal for modules with low load impedances. The Bento 2, a high-performance, two-slot rack chassis, is a by-product of the Bento 8 development, providing robust functionality for various audio production scenarios.

Fredenstein paid special attention to the power supply, offering a universal voltage linear power supply with high output currents per slot (±16 or +48 VDC at 2A or 500mA respectively). Extensive shielding reduces hum from the mains transformer, ensuring clean power. The parallel 1/4" TRS and XLR I/O facilitate seamless integration with your gear, supporting high-quality recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
