The Walrus Audio Silt Harmonic Fuzz is a unique two-in-one fuzz pedal created in collaboration with tube expert Jim Hagerman. It features an internal pre-amp tube and offers both traditional fuzz and uniquely harmonic overtones with the flip of a switch. The pedal combines analog circuit warmth with a 12AU7 tube in the drive section to deliver nirvana for those seeking a harmonically rich fuzz experience. The Silt's tube section delivers warm, bone-rattling fuzz, while the Harmonic Mode acts as a frequency doubler before the drive section, producing octave-like sounds for distinctive lead tones. It also includes a Contour control to refine the fuzz tones and allows toggling between highpass, flat, and lowpass curves in the pre-tube EQ stage for versatile tonal shaping.
