Product Overview
The RME MADIface XT II is a high-performance, compact USB 3.0 audio interface offering 394 channels for seamless analog and digital audio transfer to your computer. It features updated digital and analog circuitry, delivering improved performance over its predecessor. New enhancements include Room EQ for speaker correction, Dolby Atmos support, and USB 3 Class Compliant operation, allowing full 394-channel transmission without drivers.
This interface provides two XLR analog mic/line inputs, two line outputs, a headphone output, three MADI I/O options (two optical, one coaxial), wordclock I/O, MIDI and AES I/O (via D-Sub), and a USB-B port for computer connection. Additionally, it includes a USB-A port for connecting RME's ARC USB remote unit. The MADIface XT II comes with TotalMix FX DSP mixer for versatile routing and monitoring, along with a comprehensive software bundle featuring Ozone 10 Elements, S-Gear Amp, Brainworx BX Opto Compressor, Modartt Pianoteq 6, Tape It recording app, and more.

- Analog and Digital Enhancements for Superior Performance
- The MADIface XT II offers a higher signal-to-noise ratio and reduced THD in A/D conversion. Its balanced line-output level has been boosted from +15 dBu to +24 dBu, while the stereo headphone output now delivers +19 dBu with a 1-ohm output impedance for greater power. All outputs feature multiple switchable level options.
- The upgraded digital board includes a USB-A port for the optional ARC USB remote, allowing comprehensive control. The interface also introduces Room EQ with nine parametric bands, supporting surround setups for up to 20 mono output channels.
- USB 3 Class Compliant Audio: 394 Channels with No Driver Required
- The MADIface XT II supports both driver-based USB 3.0 and Class Compliant modes. In Class Compliant mode, it’s natively recognized by Windows, macOS, and Linux without needing proprietary drivers. The upgraded Class Compliant mode now allows simultaneous transmission of all 394 channels, with customizable formats and channel sequencing for optimal performance.
