Lowell FW2-RDT Rear Door Fan Panel with Whisper Fans

The Lowell FW2-RDT is a ready-to-install, low-profile rear door fan panel featuring two whisper-quiet fans with guards and a detachable cord. Designed for compatibility with Lowell rack series LGR, LER, LPR, LPPR, LSGR, and LSER, it mounts on the rear door vent pattern, typically inside the rack to exhaust warm air, but can also be mounted externally.

Lowell FW2-RDT Applications

• When mounted inside a rack, the fan panel typically provides exhaust cooling by pulling air out. However, the individual fans can be inverted for intake cooling while maintaining the same position. The panel installs in the rear door using four provided screws.
• When mounted externally, the fans usually provide intake cooling, but can also be inverted for exhaust cooling from the same position. If the panel is installed on the outside of the rear door, the cord must be routed through the door to the rack interior. This requires drilling a hole in the rear door vents for the cord and bushing (refer to installation instructions).
