The PD-14DSX is the beating heart of every V-Drums 7 Series kit, offering the most advanced and natural electronic drumming experience when paired with the flagship V71 module (all sold separately). This highly responsive snare pad features ultra-detailed positional sensing and over 16,000 velocity variations, capturing everything from nuanced paradiddles to monstrous full-tom four-stroke ruffs with precision. Its multi-sensor trigger system and high-speed digital communication ensure flawless transitions between headshots, rimshots, and cross-stick playing, with automatic hand position detection.

Designed for a natural look and feel, the PD-14DSX features a rubber hoop set inside a triple-flange hoop, providing rim height similar to an acoustic snare. The built-in throw-off mechanism allows you to quickly turn the virtual snares on or off with a flip of a lever, while the strainer knob lets you adjust snare tension to your liking. Plus, the knob includes a button to control assignable functions in the module, enhancing your playing experience with added flexibility and control.
