Two things strike me when I met soulful artist, Anna Rose:

1. Booming voice and personality in such a tiny package.
2. She is so funny and fun to hang with.

Anna Rose and her band, coming all the way from New York City to the shores of Lake Michigan for the Summerfest Emerging Artists Series, blasted the afternoon crowd with songs from her upcoming EP, Strays in the Cut as well tunes from Nomad and Beyond a Pale Horse.

I had a chance to speak with her backstage for a casual chat about her soulful, rock style and the thrill that comes with being a performer at Summerfest!
