Product Overview

A part of DPA Microphones' line of Flex Headset mics, the 4188-DC-F-F10-LH features the 4188 Slim-type cardioid mic capsule. The 4188 line is a great choice when it comes to headworn microphones as it combines absolute pristine audio quality with unique and simple mechanical solutions as well as an extensive accessory line. This particular version is a beige headset (dual ear) mounted cardioid mic that comes with an extra-long 120mm boom and includes a foam windscreen, a set of ID rings and makeup cover, a clothing clip, plus a fixed TA4F Mini-XLR connector (compatible with Shure: Axient Digital series, ATX 100, PGXI, QLXDI, SCI, SLXI, UI, ULXI, ULXI-R4, URIM, UTI - all sold separately).

This series is ergonomically designed to fit easily and seamlessly and will adjust to fit any ear size and head shape while hardly visible and securely mounted. The dual-ear mount is designed for more active situations and will be safe in even the most rigorous and energetic of performances. The microphone can be moved from the left to the right ear, or into the optimum position just by rotating the boom and earhooks.

The directional pickup rejects side and background noise while creating higher separation from nearby sound sources which improves the gain-to-feedback ratio and gives more channel control. Staying true to the DPA legacy, the 4188-DC-F-F10-LH offers accurate, natural voice intelligibility along with very high SPL handling capabilities – one can both speak and sing into it with no hint of distortion.

Intensive protection against pop/wind noise is integrated into the microphone design and windscreens are included. Also included are a capsule protection cap, a cable clip that anchors the cable to your clothing, and a color-coded cable clip offering easy recognition of a specific headset among many.

The 4188-DC-F-F10-LH is delivered in a neat, professional roadworthy box with room for accessories like transmitters, batteries, and more.

From pianissimo to forte, you'll experience clear open sound, with minimized distortion and increased dynamic range. the 4188-DC-F-F10-LH captures everything from the ‘highest of the highs to the ‘lowest of the lows,’ further distancing these mics from their competitors.
