This full duplex intercom system for 9 people from Eartec is the HUB9SMXS. This model offers eight UltraLITE dual ear headsets along with 1 Plug-In Max 4G Single Ear headset working with the HUB mini base. Anchored by the HUB, which includes two channels of communication affording separate groups of four users the ability to talk privately. As an added feature all HUB transceivers include a wired headset jack and can be utilized as an additional beltpack expanding the capacity of the system to a crew of nine all communicating in full duplex.
The lone Max4G single headset features a fully adjustable headband and deluxe foam padding, while the eight UltraLITE headsets utilize Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology (DECT) to provide professional, simultaneous-talk wireless communication within a quarter-mile range. All electronics are build inside the earcups, eliminating wires and belt-worn transceivers. The system does not require a base station, and the headsets are field programmable, meaning the system can be expanded at any time—no FCC license required.
All UltraLITE™ headsets include EARTEC’s Auto Mute Mic boom technology. These specialty microphone assemblies feature an internal micro switch that automatically mutes the headset mic gain when set to the UP position. Using AutoMUTE is a simple and efficient way to mute your microphone signal. All complete UltraLITE wireless systems include a multi-port charger (8 port) that charges the headset batteries in individual bays, along with a Softside case to keep your wireless system stored safely.
