AJA OG-FiDO-2R openGear 2-Channel 3G-SDI to Single Mode LC Fiber Receiver

From AJA's openGear® Rackframe Card roster comes the OG-FiDO-2R, a state of the art, openGear compatible, 2-channel Fiber to 3G-SDI converter. Designed for use in high density openGear 2RU frames including AJA’s OG-X-FR frame, this card enables 3G-SDI signals to be extended up to 32,808 ft (10 km) over standard single mode fiber optic cable. The two fiber inputs are completely independent allowing different 3G-SDI rates to be carried on each channel.

The OG-FIDO-2R comes with updated DashBoard software support on Windows®, macOS® and Linux® that offers remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture and provides convenient and industry standard configuration, monitoring and control options over a PC or local network. The OG-FiDO series from AJA features inputs that are re-clocked with best-in-class input jitter tolerance. The two channel cards have completely independent paths, allowing different SDI rates to be carried on each channel. The fiber connector is attached to the main card for added reliability and cost savings.

NOTE: In order to allow direct fiber connection to the card, and avoid problematic optical couplers, AJA FiDO openGear cards have the rear connectors attached to the front card. This means that the card cannot be removed from the frame with the SFP module, cables, and/or BNC retaining nuts installed.
