The AT8492D Drum Mounting System from Audio-Technica is designed to provide a miking solution that stands up to powerful drumming. Engineered to work with the ATM350a Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone (sold separately), this system includes an AT8491D Drum Mount and an AT8490 5" Gooseneck. This unique, spring-loaded drum mount system clamps onto a drum’s tension rod — with no hindering of your ability to adjust the tension — and provides excellent shock resistance for the mic. The strong, flexible gooseneck, held securely in the mount’s socket by a locking screw, lets you position the mic where you want and firmly holds it there, no matter how hard you play.
