AJA's FS Mini is a compact but powerful frame sync that also provides high-quality up, down, and cross conversion of untimed 3G-SDI, HD, and SD video signals. Capable of receiving an untimed signal, processing it, and automatically outputting it via SDI for production and HDMI for monitoring. FS Mini also provides user-selected L/R RCA audio output for monitoring.
If you have a house clock, FS Mini can accept that as a reference input for Genlock. Plus, the unit can be configured via DIP switch or USB with the use of AJA's free Mini-Config application. FS Mini includes a universal power supply with international plug connections for use around the world.

- Aspect Ratio Conversion for SD to SD:

- SD Pillarbox: produces an image in the center of the screen with black borders on the left and right sides and an anamorphized image in the center
- V Crop: transforms SD letterbox material to an anamorphic image

- The FS-Mini does not encode the HDMI output with HDCP encryption. By definition, HD-SDI inputs to the FS-Mini are unencrypted. The HDMI specification requires HDMI monitors to support unencrypted inputs.
