Transmit HDMI JPEG2000 encoded video and audio over 1-gigabit infrastructure at rates averaging 250 Mbps peaking at up to 850 Mbps with the Liberty AV Digitalinx IPEX5001-D.
Dante compatibility means that audio can be transmitted via the embedded HDMI stream or the analog 3.5mm input onto the Dante network where the multicast Audio and video travel simultaneously down a single Ethernet cable. On the receiving end, the stereo audio is de-embedded and directed to an analog output while the HDMI audio and video pass to the HDMI output.
Sine the IPEX5001-D can be powered via PoE there's no need to search for nearby outlets when positioning the unit. An RS232 port allows control over third-party devices like a TV display or HDMI switcher.
