The Lab.Gruppen E 40:4 is a compact and flexible amplifier designed for system installers in need of Hi-Z and Lo-Z capabilities. This 1 RU, four-channel amplifier delivers 4000W of power for mixed A/V installation applications. It incorporates IntelliDrive Energy Efficient Amplifier (IDEEA) technology, ensuring high power levels with minimal distortion and power consumption.

Equipped with Lab.Gruppen's Rail Sensing Limiter (RSL) technology, the E 40:4 effectively reduces signal clipping, guaranteeing consistent high-quality audio output. The amplifier can be easily configured by users for Hi-Z (70V) or Lo-Z settings. The RSL circuit intelligently senses rail voltage and optimizes each channel's output to adapt to varying load conditions, enabling optimized performance and efficiency through asymmetrical channel loading. The total available output power can be allocated according to the application's requirements. For instance, it allows driving a pair of small subwoofers on two channels while simultaneously powering multiple 70/100V ceiling loudspeakers with the remaining channels.
