The Evertz 3406FR-HDBNC is a high-capacity bulk optical conversion platform, capable of accommodating up to 16 Evertz 3406/3405 series SFPs, enabling up to 32 optical-to-electrical or electrical-to-optical conversions within a single frame. It also includes four additional MSA-compliant copper or fiber SFPs (for coax/fiber video or Ethernet), offering enhanced conversion flexibility. Occupying only 1RU, the 3406FR-HDBNC is designed for applications where space is at a premium.

The 3406FR-HDBNC supports any 3406/3405 series SFP, allowing for customizable SFP cage population with optical transmit, receive, regenerator, or electrical distribution amplifier SFPs. The SFP positions are function-agnostic, permitting any combination of 3406/3405 SFP types, resulting in numerous versatile configurations.
