Crestron DM-NAX-4ZSP 4-Zone Streaming Preamplifier

The Crestron DM-NAX-4ZSP is a cutting-edge Audio-over-IP (AoIP) preamplifier that integrates Crestron multiroom audio distribution into the network, offering four stereo zone (8-channel) line-level outputs. It features a dedicated streaming service player for delivering different content to each zone.

Built on AES67 standards, the DM-NAX-4ZSP simplifies configuration with a web interface, SIMPL Windows, C#, or a RESTful API. It is compatible with:

• DM-NVX® Platform: Through AES67 secondary audio stream.
• Third-Party AES67 Solutions: For versatile integration.
• Dante® Devices: Enabled via Dante Controller compatibility mode.

Full DSP capabilities are available for line and speaker outputs, with voltage triggers for controlling external amplifiers. The device supports Synchronized Control, allowing management of up to 32 DM-NAX devices from a single interface, which can cover up to 256 audio output zones.

Audio-over-IP: The DM-NAX platform surpasses previous Crestron systems, enabling extensive audio distribution across the network and integrating with DM NVX devices to handle audio from video feeds.

Streaming and Casting Services: Each zone features a media service player supporting AirPlay® 2, Spotify Connect™, Pandora®, SiriusXM®, and other services, consolidating streaming, routing, distribution, and preamplification in one device.

Chimes: A library of built-in chimes can be assigned to zones, with the ability to duck or pause active media when a chime is triggered.

DSP Features: Includes bass/treble adjustment, loudness, delay, output limiting, tone profiles, a 10-band EQ per output, and options for fixed or variable line output with or without DSP.

Encoder and Decoder Functionality: Configurable for network AV encoding and decoding, sending analog, digital S/PDIF, or media streams between DM NAX and AES67 endpoints.

Synchronized Control: Allows centralized management and programming of up to 32 zones via a single web interface, consolidating configuration and IP IDs in SIMPL Windows.
